Holidaymakers looking to celebrate the Chinese New Year in style might want to investigate
flights to New York.
The city plays host to one of the most popular Chinese New Year celebrations in January and February every year, with events including a huge parade and a special show at Radio City Music Hall.
Visitors to
New York can head to the Chinatown district and witness the colourful parade starting on Mott Street, while the Chinese New Year Splendour at Radio City Music Hall, which runs between January 29th and February 9th, promises a show to remember.
The event, performed by Divine Performing Arts, celebrates some 5,000 years of Chinese culture via the channels of music and dance and is a top attraction for revellers in
New York at this time of year.
Of course, there will much else to see and do during the celebrations - why not take a tour of the Big Apple's Chinese restaurants and sample a plethora of culinary treats, or attend one of the many fireworks displays that take place across the city?
