Singapore Airlines has won yet another award for its flights in a new consumer survey.
The carrier scooped the title of Best Airline in the World in the annual poll by Global Traveler magazine readers, adding to recent awards from Luxury Travel and Business Traveler magazines.
Other airlines that were recognised for their offerings included
Emirates for its international first class services,
British Airways for its
business class flights and
Virgin Atlantic for its
premium economy cabin.
Meanwhile,
Seoul Incheon bagged the title of Best Airport in the World, with
Malaysia being voted the best international tourism destination.
"The survey is truly a testament to all the winners who continually earn awards year after year," commented Global Traveler publisher and chief executive Francis Gallagher.
Earlier this month,
Singapore Airlines announced the launch of a new range of
entertainment options and amenities for child passengers through a partnership with the Cartoon Network.
