Eos Airlines has announced that it saw a record number of customers on its flights during October and November this year.
The
premium-only carrier experienced a 64 per cent increase in passenger traffic during the two-month period, a trend that could be attributable to the launch of new flights in October, it said.
Furthermore,
Eos said that it expects to see further growth over the course of 2008, as it is set to launch three new routes and receive delivery of two new planes.
"I am delighted that after our second successful year more people than ever are choosing to fly with Eos," commented Jack Williams, president and chief executive of Eos.
"Our passenger numbers are at record highs and load factors are consistently strong."
The airline offers numerous
business class flights to New York from
Stansted Airport, with passengers able to benefit from spacious cabins as a result of the carrier's policy of selling a maximum 48 tickets on every 220-capacity service.
