Fancy a relaxing, luxurious
Caribbean break with a difference? Try heading to
Antigua this spring and join in the fun at the island's annual Sailing Week.
Antigua Sailing Week will take place between April 27th and May 3rd and will see some of the world's best sailors take to the clear blue waters around the island for seven days of races and other competitions.
Visitors to
Antigua can expect to see a host of thrilling races, including the Guadeloupe to Antigua contest and the Around The Island competition.
Spectators can choose to either follow each race closely or simply lie on Antigua's golden beaches and gently soak up the atmosphere, while official and unofficial parties take place throughout the week across the island.
Holidaymakers can also take the opportunity to see some of Antigua's other attractions - such as the Museum of Antigua and Barbuda and the spectacular views from Shirley Heights - in between races.
Antigua Sailing Week traditionally ends with a massive party at Dickenson Bay, but this year the bash will be held at Fort James.

Antigua Sailing Week website.
