A star-studded affair in Edinburgh
Film fans might be interested to hear that this year's Edinburgh International Film Festival is expected to see some high profile celebrities take to the red carpet on its opening night.

The event, which takes place between June 18th and 29th at venues across Edinburgh, is set to open with John Maybury's Dylan Thomas biopic The Edge of Love and stars Keira Knightley and Sienna Miller are expected to appear on the red carpet with the celebrated director.

Of course, there's much more to the festival than the opening gala; visitors to Edinburgh can also expect to take in a wide variety of films and features from around the world, with titles expected to be confirmed next month.

June 19th will also see acclaimed band British Sea Power perform live at The Caves as part of the Mirrorball side event.

Last year's festival featured movies such as Ian Curtis biopic Control and fantasy flick Stardust.
