Aer Arann has begun a number of new flights and improved other schedules this week.
The airline has started twice-weekly flights to
Malaga and
Faro from
Galway and
Waterford airports, following increased demand for services to the two sunshine destinations.
It has also begun service to
Amsterdam from
Galway and Waterford this week, flying to the Dutch capital four times a week.
"Spain and Portugal are popular destinations for Irish sun seekers," commented Aer Arann managing director Garry Cullen.
"Aer Arann's flights to Malaga and Faro provide summer sun destinations direct from Galway and Waterford Airports."
Meanwhile, those flying from
Cork can now enjoy extra
flights to Dublin - including extra early morning departures - and
Edinburgh, as well as the reintroduction of services to
Southampton.
Aer Arann also said it expects to launch new routes to
France from
Ireland later this month.
