Visitors to
London will be able to see the best of the capital's architecture in a month-long festival this summer.
The London Festival of Architecture takes place between June 20th and July 20th and sees attendees able to take part in activities such as cycle tours, walks and boat trips to view the city's most inspiring buildings.
Exhibitions, talks, performance and large-scale street animations will also take place over the course of the festival.
The event concentrates on five main
city areas, including the museums and galleries of Kensington, Chelsea and Knightsbridge, the Olympics development and more at the Thames Gateway and public spaces in King's Cross, Bloomsbury and Covent Garden.
Other areas of interest consist of Southwark and South Bank, where evening events and exhibitions will take place, as well as Clerkenwell and the City of London, where events will explore sustainable architecture and various installations.
Some of the most famous examples of great architecture that can be found in
London include St Paul's Cathedral, Christ Church, Westminster Abbey and the Museum of Natural History.
