Eastern Airways has announced that it is to switch all of its flights from Birmingham Airport's Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 next month.
The move will take place on June 4th and will also see passengers benefit from a new dedicated fast-track security channel at Terminal 1. This will enable flyers to avoid security search queues, the carrier said.
Terminal 1 is also equipped with a new
Eastern Airways sales and customer service desk, with passengers able to use check-in desks 50 to 54 when taking a
flight from Birmingham Airport.
"Switching to Terminal 1 will benefit all our customers, as we can now offer a fast-track security channel, enabling 30-minute check-in to boarding times," remarked Roger Hage, ground services manager for Eastern Airways.
The airline recently launched a new non-stop service between
Newcastle and
Stavanger, replacing a previous route that stopped over at
Aberdeen.
