Bmi subsidiary bmi regional is set to add a third return service on its network of
flights from Edinburgh to Copenhagen this summer.
The new service will commence on July 21st and will increase the airline's connection between
Edinburgh Airport and
Copenhagen to 18 return flights per week.
As well as increasing the accessibility between the two cities, the launch will also increase the number of connections available to destinations including
Helsinki and
Tokyo.
Travellers flying from locations such as
Oslo and
Istanbul will also be able to connect to
Edinburgh through
Copenhagen.
Peter Kenworthy, bmi regional's commercial director, said: "By adding an extra service to our Edinburgh-Copenhagen route we are able to open up connections to many additional international destinations for our Scotland-based business and leisure customers.
"Together with our all-jet fleet, convenient flight schedules and low fares we have a market leading product."
According to figures released by the Civil Aviation Authority this year, bmi regional is the UK's most punctual airline.
