TAP Portugal has implemented a system at
Lisbon Airport which it claims will provide faster and easier departures for some passengers.
Members of the airline's Gold and Silver Victoria programme and TAP Corporate card holders can access the new security control and priority X-ray handling service.
The initiative, which is designed to offer faster transit to the departure lounge, is part of investment that TAP Portugal has made recently in services for its
business class passengers.
Another amenity that business travellers can make use of at
Lisbon Airport is the Espaco Premium customer centre, which provides special check-in facilities and other customer care services.
TAP Portugal recently announced that at the beginning of August it passed the five million passenger mark for the year, nearly a month earlier than the point at which the milestone was achieved in 2007.
A substantial contribution to the total came on August 1st, when the airline transported 33,464 passengers, breaking its previous record for the most people carried in one day.
