Singapore is preparing to host its first formula one grand prix with a month-long celebration of the country's culture and motorsport.
In the run up to the first-ever night race - which will take place on the city's streets on September 28th - the Singapore GP Season will see a host of events lighting up the city.
Visitors to Singapore during this time can expect to party at the inaugural Singapore River Festival, taste hundreds of well-known beers from around the world at the Singapore Beer Festival, as well as test their racing skills on a simulated grand prix circuit for the chance to win a to race against Williams driver Nico Rosberg.
The Singapore Motorshow 2008 will showcase the latest cutting-edge concept cars, while the ING Renault F1 team will be displaying their cars in a special pavilion.
Around 80,000 people a day will line the streets of Singapore to watch the three-day history-making event.
