Shopping Festival.
The
Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) announced that the campaign would run from January 10th until mid-February, meaning that it will coincide with the Shopping Festival period.
Visitors will benefit from a number of special hotel offers, including price reductions of up to 25 per cent on food and beverages and discounts on room rates of between 40 and 60 per cent.
The campaign will initially be launched in Dubai's eight major tourist markets, which include the

Germany,
Japan and
Australia.
Khalid Ahmed bin Sulayem, director general of the DTCM, said that the special offers are likely to be made available in other countries later in 2009.
The Dubai Shopping Festival will get underway on January 15th and will offer designer discounts, entertainment and a number of retail-themed events.
