Air Canada improves service on flights to Europe
Air Canada has announced the introduction of new cabin interiors on all of its flights to Europe.
The improved options include lie-flat bed suites in first class and personal inflight entertainment systems for all passengers.
These new facilities will be available on Air Canada services including its flights from London Heathrow to Calgary, which will also be operated by a new aircraft.
People travelling in North America will benefit from a wider range of connections this year when Air Canada launches new non-stop flights from Calgary to San Diego, California; Portland, Oregon; London, Ontario and Whitehorse, Yukon.
Stephan Poirier, vice-president of the Calgary Airport Authority, said: "Air Canada's choice to expand its extensive Calgary network with new non-stop destinations, and the addition of the B-777 aircraft on the Calgary-London Heathrow route, reflects the essential role Calgary plays in the western Canada travel network."
Air Canada is based in Montreal and operates flights to more than 170 destinations on five continents.
