Bmi business class services improved
Bmi has announced a number of initiatives and route launches that it claims will strengthen its position as "Britain's business airline".
At this month's Business Travel Show, the carrier announced plans to double its frequency of flights from London Heathrow to Tel Aviv from March 30th, following the recent increase in services to Riyadh.
From March 29th this year, bmi will operate five weekly flights to Kiev, which will offer a business class service including leather seats with a 50-inch pitch.
The airline also revealed a travel technology development, with paperless boarding and mobile check-in now available on all domestic flights from Heathrow Airport.
Peter Spencer, managing director of bmi, said: "We strive to offer increased flexibility and convenience with initiatives such as our innovative total paperless boarding, now available on all domestic routes from London Heathrow, as well as 30-minute check in and complimentary chauffeur drive for business class customers.
"These initiatives help us to deliver a full service package offering significant benefits and reinforce our commitment to providing the best possible service for business travel."
The airline recently launched a promotion offering lower business class fares on flights to destinations including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dublin and Brussels.
