Oneworld carriers relocate at Heathrow Airport
Oneworld carriers Iberia and British Airways have made changes to their operations at Heathrow Airport as part of a major co-location project by the airline alliance.
Iberia is moving a number of its services to Terminal 3 at the airport and expects to complete its transfer from Terminal 1 by February 25th.
British Airways is also moving some of its flights from the airport's first to third terminal, including connections to Helsinki, Lisbon and Nice.
Oneworld members American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Japan Airlines and Royal Jordanian have been based at Terminal 3 for some time and were last month joined by Finnair.
Qantas and British Airways' flights to Australia and Singapore will follow at a later date.
The collective basis of these partner airlines in one location at Heathrow Airport is expected to facilitate easier connections for passengers.
Oneworld, which also boasts Malev and LAN Airlines among its members, is this year celebrating the tenth anniversary of its founding.
