Formula One season awaits green light
Motorsport fans will soon see plenty of new worldwide travel opportunities open up when the 2009 Formula One season begins.
This year's championship will get underway with a race in Melbourne, Australia on March 29th.
Attention will then shift to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia when the city hosts its Formula One Grand Prix on April 5th, followed by a race in Shanghai, China on April 19th.
The most popular locations on the Formula One championship calendar this year will include Valencia when it hosts its street race on August 23rd, followed a month later by only the second ever Formula One Grand Prix at night in Singapore on September 27th.
All eyes will be on Lewis Hamilton this season, with motorsport fans around the world eager to see if he can repeat the success that he achieved so dramatically last year.
Hamilton will once again be driving for McLaren Mercedes this season alongside Heikki Kovalainen, while Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa will be back behind the wheel for Ferrari.
