Icelandair has announced that it will be launching new scheduled flights from London Heathrow to Seattle via Reykjavik this year.
The service will get underway on July 22nd and will operate four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Provided in cooperation with Alaska Airlines, the new flights to Seattle will enable travellers to access onward connections to destinations in Canada and the US including Vancouver, Calgary, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
People who are willing to make an overnight stopover in Iceland will be able to catch the new flights to Seattle from Manchester Airport.
