EasyJet has announced that it will be expanding its range of flights available from Gatwick Airport from July 17th this year.
The airline will base a new aircraft at the hub, bringing its total number of planes based there to 39, and offer increased access to a host of summer holiday hotspots.
Bodrum and Dalaman in Turkey will be served by four and seven flights a week respectively, while frequency to the Greek island of Mykonos will be boosted to four weekly services.
People travelling to France will be able to choose from eight weekly flights to Montpellier and 19 services to Toulouse with easyJet from July 17th, while the number of connections to Split in Croatia will rise to 11 a week.
Paul Simmons, the airline's UK regional manager, said: "EasyJet has grown dramatically at Gatwick over the last few years by offering its familiar combination of low fares with care and convenience and has grown Gatwick to be our biggest single airport base."
It was also announced this week that the carrier is to begin serving Starbucks coffee on its flights from Newcastle Airport, London Gatwick, London Stansted and Madrid.
