Etihad Airways has launched a promotion designed to boost interest in its
business class flights.
Discount business class prices will be available to travellers who book before May 16th and fly from the
United Arab Emirates by June 25th.
More than a dozen routes across Etihad's network will be on offer at lower prices, including its connections to
Brussels,
Dublin,
Frankfurt and
Bangkok.
Peter Baumgartner, the carrier's chief commercial officer, said: "Recent global awards, such as Skytrax, show that Etihad's business class cabin is considered by air travellers to be the best in the world.
"This promotion aims to celebrate this fact and give many thousands of lucky travellers an opportunity to sample our award-winning premium service at very affordable prices."
Etihad was one of the big winners at the recent
Middle East ceremony of the 2009 World Travel Awards, where it was named the region's top airline and also picked up an accolade for its lounge in
Abu Dhabi.
The award for the best
inflight entertainment system offered by a Middle Eastern carrier went to
Emirates.
