A new golf course has been opened in
Muscat, the capital city of
Oman.
The 18-hole, PGA-standard Muscat Hills Golf and Country Club is the city's first golf course.
It was laid out by internationally acclaimed golf course designer Paul Thomas and boasts a distinctive location in natural mountainous surroundings.
A number of features will be added to the
Muscat course in the future, including a state-of-the-art clubhouse with leisure facilities and a shop.
Visitors will also be able to stay in a boutique hotel at the new complex as well as apartments and villas.

Flights to Muscat are available with a number of carriers, including
