Etihad Airways will open a new premium lounge at
Heathrow Airport this month, it has been announced.
The new facility will be unveiled on September 30th as part of the airline's move from the third to the fourth terminal at London Heathrow.
First and
business class customers, as well as Etihad Gold and Silver card holders, will be able to use the lounge, which will feature individual spa treatment rooms, a five-star dining area, a business centre and other amenities.
Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways' chief commercial officer, said that the new facility will be "one of the best customer lounges available at London Heathrow".
He added: "Our new premium lounge at the airport represents a major investment and demonstrates the airline's continuing commitment to deliver world-class premium products and services to its first and business class customers on the ground as well as in the air."
Frankfurt in
Germany became the first location to have an Etihad premium lounge outside the
United Arab Emirates in July this year.
