Travellers taking holidays in
Europe over the coming months will have opportunities to see Ben Hur Live in some of the continent's most popular
city break destinations.
The elaborate show, which is the culmination of 15 years of work, was premiered in
London in September to mark the 50th anniversary of the classic Charlton Heston movie Ben Hur.
It is set some 2,000 years ago at the time of the Roman Empire and features the chariot races that famously appeared in the original film, as well as battle scenes and festival celebrations.
A cast of 400 performers bring the show to life, as well as 40 specially trained horses.
The Ben Hur Live tour is currently in
Germany and will visit
Stuttgart and
Munich before the end of the month.
Travellers will also have opportunities to see the arena production in
Milan (November 6th, 7th),
Vienna (December 5th, 6th),
Paris (December 19th) and
Barcelona (December 26th, 27th).
More information is available on the event's
official website.
