People flying with
Oman Air from
London can now access three different classes of travel, after the airline announced an overhaul.
The company has introduced first, economy and
business class cabins on its A330-300s between
Heathrow Airport and
Muscat.
In addition, a new menu and
inflight entertainment system will be on offer, with economy passengers getting 10.4-inch screens.
The first class cabin will have the longest lie-flat bed available on a commercial airline, complete with a 23-inch screen and a seat with an eight-point massage facility.
The business class section, which will have 20 seats, will also have lie-flat beds taking up 82 inches.
Peter Hill, chief executive officer of Oman Air, said: "The transformation of Oman Air is now a reality and we look forward to being the airline of choice for customers travelling from the UK to Oman and beyond."
The airline took delivery of its first Airbus A330-200 earlier this year, which features two classes and space for 216 passengers.
