South Australia to welcome stars in 2010

There will be a "host of stars" visiting South Australia in 2010, according to the state's tourist board.

Sports fans will find plenty to interest them, including the Santos Tour Down Under cycling event, which will run from January 17th to 24th.

One of the main attractions of the contest will be the fact that one of the sport's living legends, Lance Armstrong, will be taking part.

Another sporting icon, John McEnroe, will be appearing in Adelaide between January 12th and 14th for the World Tennis Challenge, which will attract several other champions of past and present.

Music fans could also be tempted to book flights to Australia in 2010 to see a series of concerts taking place at wineries in the first few months of the year.

Ronan Keating will headline the McLaren Vale Festival at the Leconfield winery on the Fleurieu peninsula on January 30th.

Jazz singer Diana Krall will come to Peter Lehmann Wines in Tanuda on February 27th, while Tom Jones will play a headline set at Annie's Lane in the Clare Valley on March 6th.
