Brussels Airlines to offer more UK flights
Brussels Airlines has announced plans to increase the frequency of its flights to Brussels from Bristol Airport and Newcastle Airport.
From January 10th next year, the carrier will offer three daily connections on both routes.
Brussels Airlines currently operates two daily flights to Belgium's capital city from Bristol Airport and a single service from Newcastle.
Another change to the airline's schedule will see four daily flights launched between Heathrow Airport and Brussels from January 10th, following the cessation of bmi operations on this route on January 9th.
Erik Follet, network vice-president at Brussels Airlines, said: "In offering a service to and from London Heathrow, we can give our passengers a better service, as well as better connections to our Star Alliance partner networks flying out of Heathrow."
The carrier officially joined the Star Alliance this week, expanding the network to some 19,700 daily flights to 1,077 destinations in 175 countries.
Brussels Airlines operates 200 daily services to 55 airports in Europe and 14 locations in Africa.
