Live Star Wars show to tour Europe
Star Wars fans will have the opportunity to combine a city break with a live show inspired by the film series next year.
The Star Wars: In Concert production will go on a short European tour, starting at the Dublin O2 on March 7th.
It will then visit British cities including Liverpool (March 9th), Glasgow (March 13th) and Manchester (March 15th) before heading to the continent for performances in Paris (March 17th) and Milan (March 26th, 27th).
The tour will conclude with four shows in the UK, including two at the O2 Arena in London on April 3rd and 4th.
Star Wars: In Concert features music composed by John Williams for all six films in the franchise.
The pieces are performed by a live symphony orchestra and chorus while specially edited footage from the movies is shown on giant LED screens behind the stage.
Fans will also be able to visit an exhibition featuring props, costumes and other memorabilia from the films, including a number of items that have never been shown in public before.
