EasyJet reveals new summer flights from Gatwick
EasyJet has announced that it will introduce four new routes to popular holiday destinations from its base at Gatwick Airport this year.
The carrier's flights to Antalya in Turkey and the Greek islands of Crete, Kos and Zakynthos will get underway between May 21st and 23rd.
An Airbus A320 will arrive at London Gatwick in the spring to operate the routes, meaning the total number of easyJet planes based at the airport will increase to 41.
The launches will bring the airline's total number of routes from the London base to 83.
EasyJet describes Antalya as a "historic city" that boasts attractions including a Roman harbour, palm-lined boulevards and the old town of Kaleici.
Holidaymakers visiting Crete can see its historical sights and countryside, while Kos is known for its summer holiday resorts, beaches and nightlife.
The new links to Turkey and Greece will be launched following easyJet's previously announced flights to Bordeaux, Dusseldorf and Hamburg, which will commence in February.
