Flybe launches new Humberside services
New flights between Belfast and Humberside are to be launched by Flybe this summer.
The low-cost airline will operate four services a week between the two cities from 27 May until 29 October.
Running on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, the new flights are in addition to Flybe's existing services at Humberside.
Tony Lavan, director of Humberside Airport, said: "The new four times weekly scheduled service to Belfast comes only weeks after Flybe's announcement of a new weekly service to Malaga for summer 2010.
"We are sure that Belfast will be a popular addition to the schedule and we look forward to working with Flybe to make it a great success."
The discount carrier currently operates at 38 UK and 32 European airports, flying on 196 routes to 13 countries.
According to statistics from the CAA, Flybe carried more UK passengers to domestic destinations than any other airline between April and December 2009.
