Heathrow to acquire luxury hotel

It has been revealed that leading American airline, Delta Air, has joined with YOTEL to provide a hotel complex for the use of business customers. YOTEL, who specialise in creating capsule hotel rooms, will provide incoming passengers with the perfect accommodation to relax from their flight before travelling home.

Integrated into London Heathrow’s Terminal 4 the service can be utilised by those flying with KLM, Air France or Delta at a business level. Provided for members of Flying Blue elite, Diamond and Platinum SkyMiles Medallion and those travelling in BusinessElite individuals arriving in London from Detroit, Atlanta, Minneapolis or New York-JFK can spend a night in one of YOTEL’s capsules. Providing incoming passengers with a simple solution as to what to do in the case of late arriving flights or overnight stays the small rooms come with handmade organic beds, flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi, work area, and bathroom with monsoon rain shower offering the perfect end to a sometimes long and tiresome business trip and flight.

The announcement of Delta’s new partnership comes after they revealed that together with Air France an additional New York flight was to be provided. Starting from the 20th September the addition will increase services between the two airports to three times a day giving customers more ease and flexibility in transatlantic crossings. And with Delta’s BusinessElite class offering full-flat beds in conjunction with the new YOTEL offering flying with Delta offers comfort like never before.
