Jet2 offers Cheap Flights to Geneva Just in Time for Ski Holiday Season

The ski slopes of Val d'Isere are located just just a couple of hours away from Geneva Airport

With summer coming to an end, our thoughts turn away from the sand and surf to the winter holiday season. For many of us, this means hitting the snowy slopes on a skiing excursion.

To that end, Jet2 has expanded its ski holiday offerings with new flights to Geneva for the winter sports season. This includes plans for increased flights from several UK airports, like Manchester, throughout the 2010/2011 winter sports holiday season. Other airlines offering flights to Geneva include Air France, Flybe, and Jet Airways, with flights leaving from most UK airports including Guernsey, Newcastle, and Edinburgh.

From Geneva Airport, there are a plethora of resorts to choose from - all located within one to three hours travel time. This includes the French resort of Val d'Isere, which is serving as host to the 55th edition of the Criterium de la Premiere Neige, where men and women from around the world take to the slopes to face Bellevarde and compete in the World Cup trials. The best of the British will be represented there; with the event running from 5th - 19th of December 2010.
