Business Class Upgrades on Air Seychelles Flights
A row of economy class seats will have to be removed to accommodate the upgrades to business class
Air Seychelles has confirmed that it will upgrade business class flights on some of its popular services. By removing a row of economy class seats, the air carrier said it will replace current seating with lie-flat beds for certain routes, including those to London.
Revamping its 'Pearl Class', which is aimed at business travellers, Air Seychelles revealed that the new lie-flat beds have already been introduced on its services to Paris. Overhauling a large number of its fleet to include the new luxurious seating, Air Seychelles also confirmed that Milan, Rome, and London routes would have upgrades available by the beginning of December. Removing one row of economy seats has allowed the company to extend its business class services, incorporating a total of 24 lie-flat beds for business class passengers.
This is an important step for the airline, as it will become the only carrier to offer such services on flights between European destinations and the Seychelles. Business passengers will continue to enjoy luxury services such as handheld entertainment systems that play an extensive range of movies, television programmes, and music. In addition, the cabin has been altered so that, as well as the inclusion of new seating, travellers are provided with as much privacy as possible. With business guests now able to travel in more luxurious style than ever before, Air Seychelles is likely to note large increased custom for its upgraded flights.
