Air France Offers New Upgraded Business Flights

The upgrades to Air France's Business Class will commence at the end of this year

Making a major revamp to its services, Air France has revealed that not only are new flights to both North and South America to begin, but business class passengers will be able to utilise their new Premium Voyageur Cabin. Available for those who may be flying from Britain, or catching connecting flights, the business upgrades begin at the end of 2010 and will become present on an increasing number of planes as the years progress.

Revealing that the frequency of flights to New York were being increased in addition to the capacity levels for Mexico and Boston, Air France will offer the Premium Voyageur cabin on long haul aircraft. An overhaul of their business class will bring the longest in-flight beds to passengers, giving over two metres of space in which to relax. In addition, seats have easier controls and a fixed footrest. Meanwhile a new storage space has been included whilst entertainment screens have been enlarged to 15inches.

Starting on flights via France at the end of this year, the fleet will be overhauled over the coming months and years, with more than 20 planes using the Premium Voyageur class by summer 2011. By 2013 Air France estimates that almost forty planes including the Boeing 777, Airbus A380 and A330 would allow business travellers access to the latest levels of comfort. And with airport perks such as priority check-in and free 23kg baggage allowance, travelling with Air France's latest business class offering could prove efficient, luxurious, and extremely comfortable.
