Flybe Offering New Flights from Manchester Airport
Flybe to offer new flights from Manchester Airport
It has been revealed by regional airline Flybe that two new routes are to begin at Manchester airport. Offering residents from Northern England more flight choice, the largest regional airline in Europe will start providing flights to Nantes and Aberdeen.
As part of an extensive plan to build its presence at Manchester airport, Flybe now offers airport visitors, close to 580 weekly flights to 18 important destinations. New services to Aberdeen have noted particular demand in bookings, signalling the need for such a route. Making its inaugural flight next week, the route to the Scottish city will provide three return options per day, from Monday to Friday. The airline has ensured that both the reasonably priced fares and the appropriate flight times are suited to be of maximum benefit to business travellers.
Meanwhile Flybe is also to launch new services to Nantes, an important commercial destination for Brittany. Also offered at competitive prices, flights will be offered four times a week, providing visitors to the region with an extended number of travel options.
Speaking of the implementation of the two new services Flybe's chief commercial officer, Mike Rutter, explained "As a business, we are always keen to respond to our customers' needs and we have been pleased with the initial support for these two new routes, especially for our Aberdeen service where forward bookings are especially strong." He added that the company looked forward to the inaugural flights and were positive that the latest additions to their portfolio allowed even more freedom for travellers.
