Monarch to Offer New Cypriot Flights
Monarch will soon be offering new Cypriot flights
It has been revealed the UK's largest independent charter flight line, Monarch, that they are to offer new flights to Cyprus in the spring of 2011. Catering for the holiday market and the start of the summer season, the services will be offered from Manchester, Birmingham, and Gatwick offering passengers a good range of travel options.
The group, who also offer low cost scheduled flights to almost 100 destinations, revealed that the new services are being implemented in response to growing demand. Paphos is a particularly popular Mediterranean hotspot for summer holidaymakers, drawing thousands of people over the season. And with the latest additions to Monarch's portfolio, more people than ever will be able to take advantage of cheap flights to this sunny location.
Beginning on the 4th May, the airline will start operating a twice weekly service to Paphos from three major British airports. Speaking of the additions the airlines managing director, Tim Jeans, said "The addition of new services to Paphos is in direct response to customer feedback and will increase the number of Monarch seats between the UK and Cyprus by 35% next summer." He added that the company already had a good reputation for serving the area, taking 300,000 travellers to Larnaca per year. With the latest services, even more individuals looking for sunny climes and warm waters will be able to travel to Cyprus in 2011, and with great prices on fares, Mediterranean holidays to the country are expected to remain in demand.
