Business Routes to Melbourne are Announced by Royal Brunei

Royal Brunei has launched its first service to Bandar Seri Begawan from Melbourne, offering business travellers more options for flying between the UK and Australia. Whilst the airlines route to London Heathrow isn't the quickest service available it is lower in cost, offering business travellers on a budget a new choice to take advantage of.

Flights from London to Melbourne make two stops to make the service as cheap as possible. A brief refuelling stop is made in Dubai, before flights travel to Bandar where a three hour connection is made. Whilst the journey may take a few hours longer than traditional routes, the airline is hoping that the competitive price will attract travellers who want to try and find lower cost fares. And whilst a few hours difference in flight time can be significant to some, many flying to Australia will find that pricing outweighs the extra travel time.

Using a Boeing 777-200ER aircraft, business class seats on the route offer a sloped lie-flat seat. Flights will be offered on Fridays, Saturdays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, leaving London at 9.40am. Return flights meanwhile will operate on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The new route from Royal Brunei is perfect at a time when many individuals are looking to save money when travelling. Whilst for some travellers a few extra hours may be significant, it might just be ideal in offering passengers the chance to freshen up in Bandar Seri Begawan, before heading on to their final destination.
