New Flights to Portugal with British Airways
New flights to Portugal
British Airways (BA) has revealed that it is to offer new routes this summer including a service to Faro. Offering a range of flights to suit summer travellers, the popular airline will also commence a route to Malaga as well as increasing the number of services to Ibiza, Palma and Nice.
In attempt to offer Londoners even more ways to escape the city, the new BA flights will be based from London City Airport, increasing the total number of flights to holiday locations to 39 per week. Until September the Nice service will enjoy two flights a day, whilst services to Palma and Ibiza will be increased to ten a week. Meanwhile, four weekly flights to Faro will be on offer whilst the Malaga service, which will operate throughout the year, will enjoy three weekly flights.
Talking of the latest services commercial director for BA CityFlyer, Luke Hayhoe, said "We first launched leisure only flights from London City last year in direct response to demand from our customers. They proved so popular, particularly during the summer months that we have decided to expand them further this year." The new flights are ideal for city dwellers wanting a quick escape to make the most of summer long weekends and breaks. And with a host of new options becoming available, BA's CityFlyer services look set to be very popular.
