New Phuket Flights to be Launched by Thai Airways
New flights for Phuket
It has been revealed that Thai Airways are to launch a new direct service to Phuket from Copenhagen. Offering a new way for holidaymakers to travel to the popular Thai destination, the service will begin on November 11th in addition to a new Copenhagen to Bangkok flight.
Launching three flights per week Thai Airways will be offering the services aboard a Boeing 747-400 complete with Business and First Class seats to increase customer travel choice. Leaving the Danish city on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays the service will allow passengers to fly directly to Phuket. Meanwhile, whilst there is no direct return service provided by Thai Airways, they will offer a new Bangkok to Copenhagen flight, allowing travellers to catch the airlines daily flights from Phuket before catching a connection.
Talking of the new service Thai Airways executive vice president of commercial services, Mr Pandit Chanapai, said "THAI is pleased to offer the first-ever direct flights from Copenhagen to Phuket giving passengers more choices and making it easier than ever to travel from Scandinavia straight into Phuket." The service will also be welcomed by British travellers, who currently have to fly to Phuket via a number of destinations such as Singapore and Bangkok, with the latest service adding another travel choice for them to make use of.
