New Caribbean Flights with Virgin Atlantic Announced
Virgin Atlantic Increase services to Caribbean destinations
One of the world's leading airlines, Virgin Atlantic, has revealed that it is to increase the number of services they offer to Caribbean destinations. With winter looming and many British individuals looking to escape for some winter sun, Virgin will offer increased access to Tobago, Cuba, Grenada and Barbados.
Whilst recent rises in duty costs have pushed up flight prices to the Caribbean, it hasn't stopped Virgin from increasing the number of services that they will offer to holidaymakers. Operating from London Gatwick and Manchester, the flights will offer more connections to those seeking winter sun, providing the ideal getaway for many.
Edmund Rose, Virgin Atlantic's director of commercial and revenue planning spoke at the St Martin based Caribbean Tourist Organisation conference, explaining that the Caribbean was "tremendously important to Virgin Atlantic". He added "We are proud of the business and revenue that is brought to the Caribbean through our presence and we are committed to extending that."
With the new flights, Virgin will significantly grow its portfolio of services to destinations in the Caribbean. And with the addition of more premium economy seats available to passengers, travellers will have more choice than ever before.
