New accommodation options in Italy

Holidaymakers visiting Italy this year will have the opportunity to try out a number of new accommodation establishments across the country.

One property that opened recently is the Golden Tower Hotel in Florence, which is located in the heart of the city next to the historic Palazzo Strozzi and boasts features including a medieval hall with 15th century frescoes.

Another option in the Tuscany region is the NH Grand Hotel Palazzo in Livorno, which has 123 rooms including a selection of suites, while the Villa Elda in Siena offers panoramic views over the old town centre.

Travellers planning to explore Rome and the surrounding region can stay at the Il San Francesco Hotel in Sabaudia, southern Lazio, which is within close proximity of a private park, the lake of Paola and other attractions.

Another popular Italian holiday destination, Venice, has boosted its hospitality offering with the opening of a new bar at the Hotel Cipriani.

In Milan, holidaymakers can visit the new Edone' restaurant, which specialises in seafood.
