Jet2 to Offer New Glasgow Routes

It has been revealed by Glasgow airport that airline Jet2 are to offer a range of new Spanish routes next year. With the airport attempting to increase its number of international destinations, the new services to Lanzarote, Ibiza, Murcia, Malaga and Barcelona are already on sale and will offer flights from next March.

Spain remains a very popular destination for tourists to visit, and with the latest news that it is one of the cheapest holiday destinations in Europe, it has stayed firmly at the top of British getaway wish-list. Jet2 will be offering four weekly flights to Malaga, three weekly flights to Barcelona, and twice weekly flights to Murcia. In addition, services to Ibiza and Lanzarote will also be commencing.

Talking of the welcome addition to Glasgow airport, commercial director Francois Bourienne said "As expected, there has been huge demand for Jet2.com's flights since its arrival at Glasgow Airport earlier this year and we're delighted it has responded by launching five new routes. The airline is clearly committed to continually improving its service for customers and should be congratulated for doing so." And with the operator already offering services to Nice, Turkey, Faro and more from the Scottish airport, travellers can expect a wide range of flights for next summer.
