It is the same in Huangyan, where the festival brings together thousands of people to celebrate the change in seasons.

The festival takes place each May Day and draws tens of thousands of visitors from home and abroad. Performances are held for the festival, both music and otherwise, and ethnic costumes are seen on many of the participants, adding a cultural flavour to the atmosphere.
