Emirates announces Newcastle Dubai link
Emirates Airline has announced the introduction of daily direct flights between Newcastle and Dubai from 1st September 2007. The new link will be Newcastle Airport's first long-haul route.

The flights to the north east airport, Emirates' sixth UK destination, will be operated by modern Airbus A330-200 aircraft, offering 27 business class, and 251 economy class seats.

The new route provides welcome additional seats for passengers travelling to the increasingly popular tourist destination of Dubai, as well as providing a new option for those wishing to travel to other destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Indian sub-continent and Asia-Pacific regions.

Emirates is one of the world's fastest growing airlines. The award-winning company now serves 88 cities in 59 countries worldwide.
