It is set to become easier for travellers to reach short-hop favourite Jersey, with the launch of a new flight between the island and Stansted Airport.
Atlantic Express plans to launch a twice-daily service between the two destinations, commencing on May 27th.
The airline, a newly formed subsidiary of the Air Atlantique Group, also plans to offer flights between Jersey and Zurich, set for a summer launch.
Jersey is a popular destination among holidaymakers looking for an easy getaway.
The island offers lush countryside, much of which is protected, as well as attractions for culture buffs, such as the Jersey Opera House and Jersey Arts Centre.
