Air Canada increases Atlantic-bound flights
Increased access to destinations along Canada's Atlanctic coast will become a reality this summer as Air Canada expands its service.
With more than 1,300 weekly flights being added to the summer schedule, 100 more per week than 2005, Air Canada claims that it will provide customers with greater choice and flexibility when choosing when and where to travel.
Vice president of network planning, Ben Smith, said "With the arrival of new, modern and fuel-efficient aircraft in our North American fleet, Air Canada is now able to implement significant network improvements that will benefit consumers with more point-to-point, non-stop flights and enhanced schedules."
The services on both Air Canada and Air Canada Jazz have added early morning flights and will also accommodate same day returns to many places from their Toronto hub, including Newfoundland, Labrador, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
