Fly to Scotland this summer and get in touch with your pagan roots at the Wickerman music festival in Galloway, near Dundrennan.
Inspired by the 1973 cult classic horror-thriller of the same name, the festival is a counter-culture musical and cultural experience which could be an up-and-coming rival to Glastonbury.
Set in 120 acres of rural farm land on the west coast of
Scotland, the Wickerman festival runs from July 21st to 22nd and sees the burning of a 30 foot wicker effigy on the Saturday night.
The festival features two main stages, world music and funky tent, a Jamaican reggae sound system, a scooter tent for all the punk rock boys and girls, as well as an acoustic tent, a children's area, workshops and crafts.
This year's line up includes New Model Army, Marky Ramone, Eddie & The Hotrods, The Blockheads and The Animals.
