The famous Dublin Horse Show, regarded as one of the top equestrian events in the world, is a great reason to grab a
flight to Dublin this August.
Known as a nation of horse-lovers and top horse breeders, visitors to this
Dublin celebration of all things equine, held at the Royal Dublin Society in the heart of the city from August 9th to 13th, will have plenty to keep non-equestrian visitors and horse-lovers alike entertained.
With races and some of the world's top show jumping, the Dublin Horse Show has a huge prize fund but also entertainments in the form of live music, arts and crafts exhibitions and a Ladies' Day fashion competition, which is offering an expenses-paid trip to France for the most elegant and stylish female.
The event is also a huge draw for Irish horse breeders and the highlight of the event is the Nations Cup for the Aga Khan Trophy, with four of the best horse and rider combinations from eight different nations taking up the challenge.
