Grab a
flight to Cape Town at the beginning of June and you could take part in the Wacky Wine Weekend in the Robertson Wine Valley.
For the third year in a row, the Cape Winelands will play host to the festival that allows people to get involved in wine-tasting and barrel-tasting.
According to the
Cape Town tourism, the event allows visitors to "get up close and personal with the local wine-making community".
Wineries across will be hosting activities that include boat cruises, tractor trips, golfing, live music and children's activities.
Those who take a
flight to Cape Town and visit the festival can also sample a variety of different food, ranging from traditional South African meals to gourmet delicacies.
Organisers of the event state that it is open to all individuals, whether they are connoisseurs of the grape or wine novices.
The weekend spans a total of 33 wineries, including Ashton, Bonnievale and McGregor, beginning on Friday June 2nd and culminating on Sunday June 4th.
