Those looking to grab a
flight to New York from Manchester are now able to enjoy a new
Delta Air Lines service.
Delta introduced an additional flight departing from Manchester at 10:30 BST and arriving at the Big Apple's JFK airport at 1:15 local time.
In addition to the New York-Manchester route, Delta is also running extra services between New York and
Dublin and New York and Shannon.
Commenting on the new flights, Glen Hauenstein, executive vice president of network and revenue management at Delta, said: "When combined with our plans to double the number of domestic flights offered each day from JFK by October, customers will find it easier than ever to choose to fly Delta to, from or through New York."
The news follows a recent announcement from the airline that its passengers will also be able to enjoy a new range of cocktails on flights over 450 miles.
Drinks on offer include the Mile High Mojito, the Mango Kiss and the Passion Fruit Sparkler.
