The National Arts Festival returns to Grahamstown,
South Africa, this summer, providing visitors with an array of art forms represented across ten days.
Travellers
flying to South Africa can visit the event, which has been portraying the best of African drama, dance, opera, music and visual art since 1974.
Visitors can also watch films, lectures and take tours of the city in a town that has been associated with carnivals and festivals for around 160 years.
A total of 50 festival venues are spread across Grahamstown, some of which now represent art forms such as craftart, student theatre, jazz, street theatre, as well as children's art.
Organisers of the event state that "the festival has come to reflect the richness of South Africa's cultural tapestry".
Those who take a
flight to South Africa this summer may want to experience the event, which takes place between June 29th and July 8th.
