A new dusk-to-dawn festival descends on
Chicagothis August, promising a variety of activities to keep visitors entertained.
Fly to Chicago in time for Saturday August 19th and you could get involved in the Bags, Bands and Beer festival.
Taking place in the Windy City's West Lakeview neighbourhood, the one day spectacular involves participants competing against each other in the new sport of beanbag tossing.
The sport involves players trying to score a goal by throwing the bag through an open bulls eye target.
In addition to the sporting backdrop, the event will also provide travellers
flying to Chicago and locals alike, with beer, soda and water.
Live bands will also be performing in the
Chicagodistrict throughout the day, to keep the masses amused.
Much of the money raised during the event will be going to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Visit
Chicago a week later and you may wish to take in the Riverview Music Fest, which takes place on the DeVry University campus.
